About

Faceless on purpose.

The work is the math, not a personality. CardMath does not put a face on credit-card education because a face is not a source.

Method

We read public issuer terms. We do simple math: annual fees, listed credits, category rates, and break-even spend. Current numerical claims are controlled by the source-of-truth: a row must be verified within seven days before those numbers are eligible to appear. Stale data is suppressed rather than treated as current. See how to read the terms and the calculator.

No “get this card”

We do not tell you which card to open. We do not run a quiz that outputs a pick. Suitability depends on credit, spend, and constraints we do not have. If a sentence sounds like a personal instruction, treat it as an error and send a correction.

U.S.-focused

Coverage is U.S. consumer and small-business cards, in dollars, under U.S. issuer terms. Foreign rewards programs, other currencies, and non-U.S. underwriting are out of scope. Residency and credit history still sit with the issuer.

What we are not

Not a bank. Not an advisor. Not affiliated with Chase, American Express, Capital One, Citi, Wells Fargo, or any other issuer named in the library. Trademarks belong to their owners.
