How we get paid

Advertiser disclosure
CardMath produces educational videos and this website about U.S. consumer and business credit cards. Some links on this site may become advertising or affiliate links. That is how the channel can be paid.
How payment works
We may be paid by card issuers or by affiliate networks when someone clicks a partner link or is approved for a product. Payment is not a condition of honest arithmetic, but it can affect which products we mention and how often they appear.
What that means for you
If we are paid to mention a card, that is advertising. A mention is not a finding that the card is suitable for you. We do not know your credit, spend, tax situation, or goals.
Not advice
Content is general education. It is not financial, tax, or legal advice. It is not a recommendation for any person. We are not licensed advisors, brokers, or an issuer.
Terms change
Offers, APRs, fees, bonuses, categories, and credits change. Always read the issuer’s current terms, including the rates and fees table, before you apply or spend. Numbers you heard in a video may already be stale.
No fake reviews
We do not publish fake reviews or paid testimonials. We do not invent user stories. Faceless does not mean anonymous about money: if a link is a partner link, treat it as advertising.
